... use it

After you downloaded Orizon jar file you are ready for your new code review experience.
If you're a developer you can add Orizon Jar file in your project and use it. Please remember the following dependencies:

  • log4j release 1.2.14 or later
  • tools.jar from your Sun Java 6 SE installation

If you're a code reviewer may be you can use your newer Orizon Jar file in your source code assessment tool built using Orizon.
If you don't know any tool built using Orizon, give Milk a try. Milk is a Java source code security assessment tool developed by me and built using the latest feature available in Orizon.

Also, hack it

Orizon is opensource code so everyone is allowed to contribute to the project. Subversion repository is opened in read only to anyone interested in taking source code to studying, modifying or creating a patch set.

Start now taking downloading the latest version of the source code (orizon_package) via subversion:
svn co http://orizon.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/orizon/

Development team is managed like OpenBSD one. If you want to contribute to the project you must checkout the orizon_package package, hacking over it and then creating a patch versus latest repository release and sending the patch to Orizon mailing list.

If the patch is valuable it will be added to latest Orizon source and the developers name added to the contributor list.
If a developer will contribute often and with useful or cutting edge code, than repository write access will be granted to that developer.
